The Justice Department has awarded GTSI a $42 million, three-year blanket purchase agreement to provide workstations, desktop and laptop computers, and equipment as part of DOJ’s plan to unify the information technology among its offices, bureaus and divisions.
The BPA was awarded by Justice’s Management Division, which is responsible for standardizing the department’s IT infrastructure as called for by the Office of Management and Budget’s strategic sourcing initiatives, GTSI said in an announcement today.
GTSI, a government IT solutions provider based in Chantilly, Va., has teamed with HP, the primary hardware supplier, and Prism Pointe Technologies, a global IT services company, to supply a full line of services, including imaging and integration, custom warranty and call support, asset management and reports, warehousing, and managed logistics.
“GTSI has a long-standing relationship with the DOJ to develop technology solutions that help the DOJ meet its mission of enforcing the law and defending the interests of the United States,” said Tom Kennedy, vice president of civilian sales at GTSI, in a statement. “This BPA will enable the bureaus and divisions throughout DOJ to increase efficiencies inside their organization as well as work more effectively with other parts of DOJ.”
