Merle Russ has joined L-3 Titan Group’s Technical and Management Services Division as vice president of business development and Army account executive, the company announced. During a 25-year career in the Army in logistics and acquisition management, Russ served as company and battalion commander in Germany. He concluded his military career on the Army Staff at the Pentagon and as director of combat support evaluation in Alexandria, Va. Russ is a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. He earned a master’s degree in management degree from Troy State University in Alabama. Based in Reston, Va., L-3 Titan Group provides homeland security, government enterprise information technology, intelligence and aerospace solutions and services for the Defense Department, intelligence agencies and other federal, state and local government customers.
