Frederick Gregory, former NASA deputy administrator, has joined the Lohfeld Consulting Group as managing director of aerospace and defense strategies. Gregory will lead the firm's Aerospace and Defense strategy practice, which provides consulting services to companies in the aerospace, defense and information technology fields. At NASA, Gregory oversaw headquarters operations and helped to develop the long-range vision of manned missions to the moon and Mars. Before that role, he oversaw the manned space program as associate administrator for space flight at the agency. Bob Lohfeld, president of Lohfeld Consulting, said Gregory's presence at the firm will add significant value to what Lohfeld's clients can expect. "We believe he will make a major contribution to our clients in the aerospace, defense and information technology markets and will help them build and execute their business development strategies both nationally and internationally," Lohfeld said in a prepared statement. "We are particularly excited about consulting engagements with companies interested in advancing the nation’s domestic and international space and aeronautics goals.”
