The Office of Personnel Management and Internal Revenue Service took top honors last week in the sixth annual Enterprise Architecture Awards. The awards are bestowed by 1105 Government Information Group, which Federal Computer Week is part of, in conjunction with the Federated Enterprise Architecture Certification Institute.

The winners are:
  • Leadership in Enterprise Architecture Driven Results Award: Joe Campbell, coordinator for the Human Resources Line of Business at OPM, for his work on that project.
  • Leadership in Government Transformation Using EA Award: Avi Bender, director of enterprise architecture at IRS, for his work in IRS filing and compliance.
Two new members were inducted into the EA Hall of Fame. They are Colleen Coggins, chief architect at the Interior Department, and Beverly Hacker, principal enterprise architect at Citizant and former chief architect at both the Treasury and Housing and Urban Development departments.
