The General Services Administration will offer risk analysis services that agencies can acquire to identify harm caused by data breaches. GSA will offer them through agreements it signed with two GSA schedule contractors.

The agency signed blanket purchase agreements with Identity Theft Guard Solutions and SRA International to provide agencies with more resources to protect individuals from the consequences of compromised personal data, said GSA Administrator Lurita Doan.

“Through these agreements, the federal government will be able to identify risks and work to prevent breaches,” she said in a statement Oct. 6.

The vendors will provide risk analysis under their current GSA schedule contracts. SRA’s services are available from its Information Technology and Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services schedule contracts, and Identity Theft Guard’s from its Financial and Business Solutions schedule contract, a GSA spokeswoman said.
