Four companies won a five-year, $90 million contract from the U.S. Agency for International Development to provide business systems modernization and strategic management consulting services.
Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., Computer Sciences Corp., ICOR Partners LLC and IBM Corp. will compete for task orders under the blanket purchase agreement, called Principal Resource for Information Management Enterprisewide, or Prime 3.1. The contract is for one year with four one-year options.
USAID and the State Department, which operate under a common strategic plan for fiscal years 2004 to 2009, will work on joint efforts through this vehicle. Of the contract’s $90 million, $65 million has been apportioned for USAID. The remaining $25 million has been earmarked for the State Department.
The companies will support USAID’s and the State Department’s organizational alignment, business and technology transformation and business systems modernization efforts, including deployment of integrated financial and procurement systems overseas.
Management consulting services will include strategic planning, program integration, enterprise architecture, systems engineering, portfolio management, investment governance and program management office services.
