The Labor Department has launched a new Web site that should provide government contracting officials easier access to obtaining wage determinations.

Labor said the site, Wage Determinations OnLine, provides information for contracting agencies on how to select appropriate wage determinations for contract actions and access to the most current determinations under the Service Contract Act and Davis-Bacon Act.

Wage Determinations OnLine also provides contracting officers a portal to Labor’s e98 Web site for submitting a request for Service Contract Act wage determinations for use on official contract actions. The portal enables the submission of electronic Standard Form 98 for any Service Contract Act-covered contract action.

The site is part of the Integrated Acquisition Environment, one of the 25 e-government projects sponsored by the Office of Management and Budget, and is a collaborative effort by OMB, the General Services Administration, and the departments of Commerce, Defense, Energy and Labor.
