The Wall Street Journal recently reported the latest way to save time and money on things you just don’t have time to do. If you would like help in deciding how to remodel a kitchen or landscape a yard, not to mention helping your child with homework, outsource it!

Outsourcing has become a cost-saver for industry, using low-wage highly skilled workers in other countries to do jobs. With Internet and computers in most homes today, it is not hard to search and find a vendor for nearly anything you might want. That has translated into going global for needed services, often at a lower cost than services provided locally.

Some examples cited by WSJ include math tutoring for children provided by an online service in Bangalore, India for $19.99 an hour or $99 a month for unlimited service. Many services, such as landscaping, can be found on online marketplaces such as guru.com. With longer and longer commutes giving us less and less time, maybe outsourcing can help.
