The second episode of FCW's radio show has aired -- and we got to talk mobile.

As I mentioned last week, We have been doing this radio program for about three years now in conjunction with DC all-news station WTOP -- or as they say on air, "103.5 FM, WTOP radio" -- and 'TOP's sister station,  Federal News Radio. We archive all the radio programs at www.fcw.com/radio.

The first show focused on collaboration.

This week's show talks about mobile computing.

This year, the 1105 GovInfo publications -- FCW, Government Computer News, and Washington Technology -- have selected a few issues that we cover multiple aspects of the same topic. FCW covers policy and management aspects... GCN covers the technology aspects... and Washington Technology covers the business aspects. Earlier this year, we did 360-degree reports on IPv6... and on collaboration.

Our most recent 360-degree package focuses on mobile computing. You can see all the stories here.

FCW's has a several stories in its mobile package. One focuses on the challenges of securing all that mobile data. FCW also focused on mobile management, otherwise known as management by BlackBerry.

GCN has a story about mobile applications.

And Washington Technology has a story about what mobile computing will mean to vendors trying to do business in the government market.

So the radio show features FCW's Mary Mosquera talking security, GCN Editor-in-Chief Wyatt Kash talking applications, and Washington Technology's Doug Beizer talking about what it means for business.

And a programming note: Next Tuesday's show, which airs Tuesday, June 3 at 10 a.m. ET on DC's Federal News Radio AM 1050, features Harvard Business School Associate Professor Andrew McAfee.

And I'm working with the Virtual Alabama team to get them on the show, too.
