According to an AP article, DARPA will no longer be offering a cash prize for its Grand Challenge competitions. Instead, the article says, “DARPA will hand out shiny trophies to the top three teams whose smart vehicles can weave through congested city traffic without human help.â€
Thankfully, money doesn’t inspire everyone.
