The State Department has a section of its Website dedicated to misinformation. It defines and gives examples of disinformation (deliberate misleading), misinformation (unintentionally misleading), media mistakes, urban legends and conspiracy theories. There are some entertaining anecdotes, but nothing to compare with Snopes.com, the urban legends reference page. And nothing about any misinformation the US might be producing. Wait, is that misinformation?
