This Slashdot thread started out as a discussion of whether IT shops in the civilian sector are “just as disorganized and mismanaged as the uniformed services.†And though the consensus is that Dilbertvilles are everywhere, there are plenty of digressions on the IT training the military folks get and whether former military IT staff can succeed in the private-sector IT world.
