This week I had the kids’ PC in the shop to purge it of the viruses and spyware they’d picked up and I couldn't get rid of. While I was listing the symptoms to the repair guy, I also added that the PC didn’t recognize my iPod but a fraction of the time. His response was, “You wouldn’t have this problem if your machine was a Mac.â€
While I’m sure he meant that systems designed by the same company to work together usually work together better than those designed by different companies, I did notice there were no Macs in the repair shop. “We almost never see them in here,†he said.
