Congressional Management Foundationâs July newsletter covers how Congress uses blogs It cites examples of legislators who post to blogs, and as you might expect, the list is not very long and the postings are predictable. They fall into categories of The Travel Blog, The Blow-by-Blow Blog, The Personal Blog, The Third Party Blog, blah, blah, blah.
Iâve been casually looking for blogs by feds for a few months now, and these legislative one Iâve seen (besides these political ones) is the LANL: The Real Story blog, which is losing popularity now that the lab's got a new director and the RFP has been issued for the Los Alamos National Lab management contract. It provided info and insights the LANL community felt they couldnât get from management or the press. And although it had its fair share of bitching and complaining, there were plenty of thoughtful, provocative postings.
So while there are some good corporate blogs and soldier blogs, I havenât seen any (good or otherwise) blogs by feds about the workplace besides that LANL one. Have you?
