Headquarters of the Multinational Corps in Iraq has outlined policies for soldier websites and blogs. Officials have defined what constitutes an “official� posting and want to keep tabs what’s being said by whom. It seems like a reasonable policy, but an administrative headache for the people who have to do quarterly reviews of all the sites. Meanwhile, the Electronic Frontier Foundation has posted a legal guide for bloggers. EFF makes it clear that this guide does not constitute legal advice. Rather it is a “roadmap to legal issues you may confront as a blogger.�
