Murphy to direct Multimax's Air Force business development

Multimax named Edward Murphy director of Air Force business development, the company announced today. In this position, Murphy will lead corporate Air Force business development efforts and Multimax operations at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., and related Air Force locations.
Murphy is an expert in Air Force and Defense Department command, control, communications and computers systems, and he has 30 years' experience planning, organizing and leading diverse military organizations.
Most recently, he was an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he was responsible for developing organizations and processes to support Air Force transformation initiatives in the communications and information arenas. He's also held executive-level leadership positions within the Air Force as director of communications for the Joint Task ForceâHorn of Africa, Air Mobility Command Deputy A6 of communications and information systems at Scott, and commander of the 88th Communications Group at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Murphy is a recipient of the AFCEA Meritorious Service Award.
