GTSI has promoted Mohamed Elrefai to vice president of the company's Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG).
Elrefai will lead the four teams that comprise ESG: Networking and Security, Mobility and Physical Security, Enterprise Software, and Enterprise Computing. Elrefai will report directly to Scott Friedlander, GTSI's executive vice president.
ESG is focused on developing and supporting GTSIâs five chosen technology solutions areas: mobile evidence capture, unified communications, network security, server consolidation and storage consolidation. GTSI is delivering these sets through its Technology Lifecycle Management methodology.
Elrefai has more than 15 years' managerial experience in sales and information technology. He spent the past four years leading the Networking and Communications Technology Team at GTSI.
Elrefai began his career at Anixter and held a number of positions of engineering, sales and management positions, culminating as vice president for federal network integration. From Anixter, he joined Learning Tree International and became vice president of corporate sales.
