GTSI appointed Peter Whitfield vice president of internal audit and business process improvement, the company announced today.
Whitfield will be responsible for the company's internal audit function including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Prior to joining GTSI, Whitfield held various executive leadership positions in sales operations and finance at companies such as MCI, Winstar and Broadwing. Most recently, he worked at an online retailer where he was responsible for improving operational processes.
