Deloitte and Touche announced today that John Dalrymple, former deputy commissioner for operations support at the Internal Revenue Service, has joined Deloitte Services to work as a director in the organization’s Federal Practice in Washington, D.C.
Dalrymple will advise the firm’s federal clients on the critical issues facing their organizations and help them develop long-term solutions.
At the IRS, Dalrymple's division, accounting for $2 trillion in tax revenue, was responsible for keeping more than 350 computer systems up and running. He provided leadership for an IRS budget of $10 billion and procurement acquisition of $2 billion, directing major information technology projects.
