William McVay, who oversaw the implementation of the Clinger-Cohen Act at the Office of Management and Budget, has joined G&B Solutions as executive vice president for management consulting.
McVay has more than 20 years of leadership experience in information technology management. Throughout his career, he has worked to transform organizations and the systems that support them. Combining creativity, a dedication to excellence and detailed understanding of IT development programs, McVay has helped revolutionize the way IT investments are selected and managed governmentwide.
Prior to joining G&B, McVay was general manager at BAE Systems IT, Strategic Consulting Services, where he provided federal agencies with integrated solutions to achieve effective and efficient implementation of their mission and compliance with federal mandates.
Before working at BAE, McVay was a deputy branch chief in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Information Policy and Technology, at OMB.
