Morrison and Foerster has hired Keric Chin as of counsel as part of its expansion of the Government Contracts practice.

Chin has adjudicated and litigated matters under the Federal Tort Claims Act, investigated aircraft accidents, and prosecuted and defended criminal cases. He has also litigated contract disputes arising from the production of nuclear weapon storage and security systems, power generation plant construction, and software maintenance and support for satellite operations.

Chin recently retired from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel after 20 years of service. He holds a JD with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif, and an LL.M degree -- with a specialization in government contract law– from the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s School.
