Regarding, "GSA cakewalking to its telework goal": Ms. Doan may accomplish her telework goals precisely because it's easy. It's easy because she is pushing downhill. The last thing General Services Administration personnel need right now is another excuse not to give their jobs full attention. Too bad GSA can't accomplish other goals such as implement an Alliant contract award and mod schedules on a timely basis, or standardize and make workable the agency's interpretations of regulations. Looks like that sideshow telecom goal might just be toast too. It's so easy to overestimate government these days. Does the USA have a GSA that is better able to accomplish its mission than two years ago? I've seen plenty of feisty talk . . . combined with continued decline.
